We believe in the one G-d in the Bible (Exodus 20:3), who created heaven, earth, man, animal and everything else (Genesis 1 and 2), the G-d of our ancestors Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (Luke 20:37), the one G-d of Israel - his chosen people (Jeremiah 31:9), who also worshiped the same G-d, like Moses (Exodus 15:25), Aaron (Leviticus 10:8), David (Psalm 108:1), all the prophets, Jesus (Mark 11:25) and all other G-d-fearing Israelites in the Bible.

Yes, we believe that the Bible is G-d's Word, is 100% true, consistent and never changes in meaning. Every single word, all verses and all 66 books, no matter in which language and for every person who wants to believe in them, are still highly relevant and valid today. Some verses, chapters and stories can be understood literally and some metaphorically/pictorially. In the context of the Bible, the chapter and the chronological order of events, this is understandable and comprehensible for every person if one studies the Bible and receives spiritual insight (1. Corinthians 2:6-16). However, if one only reads the Bible and consumes it occasionally, it quickly happens that details and verses are torn out of context and misused and misinterpreted by people for their goals. There are various Bible translations, some of which do not reflect the original and correct content. But that doesn't matter, because this only concerns a few (very important) passages and once you know them, you can cope with any version. Nowadays there are great tools and apps available to understand even the Hebrew texts without knowing Hebrew, to analyze important passages. It is not only worthwhile to study the Bible itself, but also its history, origin and manipulation attempts (until today), so you can avoid most pitfalls of human hands.

Yes, the Old Testament, that is, the Hebrew Bible or TANACH, consisting of Torah (Hebrew for teaching, way, law, 5 books of Moses), scriptures (Hebrew Ketuvim) and prophets (Hebrew Nevi'im) is, like the entire Bible, the basis of our faith.

Yes, since the entire Bible is the Word of G-d, we also believe in the New Testament (Hebr. Brit Chadashah). However, the New Testament can only be read and understood through the lense of the Old Testament (TANACH), since the TANACH was there before, the New Testament consists largely of meaningful quotations from the TANACH, was not present until the middle of the first millennium, and Jesus and his disciples also "had to get along with it". This presupposes also today that one must have read and understood the TANACH at least once. If not, one is hardly able to really understand the New Testament at every place, among other things because the New Testament is written very metaphorically/imaginatively, i.e. through the Spirit (but not only). This can very quickly lead to being seduced by false prophets, who are to be found everywhere, especially now (see Deuteronomy 13).

Short answer: According to John 18 and 19 and the Torah Jews & Christians have to make peace through this retrial in order to repent (do teshuvah in Hebrew), bringing redemption, the Messiah (ben Joseph) & world peace. There is no way around it. For more join our online course.
